Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Principal or Associate consultant with experience in Flood Risk Assessments, Water EIA and related studies to lead teams on technically complex projects.

Based in Birmingham with national scope, you will direct delivery for major infrastructure and energy schemes, mentor junior staff, and collaborate across Sustainable Water Management to win work and maintain high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing Water EIA, Flood Risk and Sustainable Drainage deliverables.
• Leading or major contributor to technical inputs for planning and permitting.
• Track record in delivering complex, high-profile water environment projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery and supervise inputs from team members.
• Develop opportunities with senior colleagues and prepare proposals.
• Manage scope, budget, schedule and health and safety standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior colleagues.
• Grow technical capability and knowledge within the team.
