Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an Associate or Associate Director Flood Risk and Water EIA consultant to lead our Bristol office, guiding a small team on water EIA and flood risk projects for major infrastructure schemes.

You will deliver technical studies, win work with clients and sit within our sustainable water management group, collaborating with LLFA and permitting teams while developing talent and growing the Bristol office.

Qualifications

• Degree in an environmental, geographical, science or engineering discipline is essential.
• Chartered status with C.WEM, CEnv, CSci or CEng.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of water EIA and flood risk studies for major infrastructure projects.
• Manage interface with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver high‑quality outputs.
• Develop proposals with senior colleagues to win new work.
• Direct and support 3-person Bristol team and grow the office.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior colleagues.
