Job summary

WSP is seeking a Principal or Associate consultant with strong Water EIA and Flood Risk experience to lead delivery on major infrastructure projects from our Birmingham office. You will direct teams, coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders, and ensure high-quality outputs across planning, permitting and environmental assessments.

You will mentor junior staff, help grow the Sustainable Water Management capability, and contribute to proposals and business development within a national

Qualifications

• A degree in environmental, geographical, science or engineering discipline is essential.
• Chartered status with C.WEM, CEnv, CSci or CEng.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of Water EIA and Flood Risk studies for major infrastructure projects.
• Direct and mentor a team of water environment specialists.
• Coordinate with clients, internal stakeholders and regulators to ensure compliant outcomes.
