Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and managing long‑term strategies, including budgets and forecasts, to ensure the organisation's sustainability.
  • Ensuring accurate reporting and maintaining compliance with housing regulations and industry standards, including overseeing audits and external reporting requirements.
  • Managing cash flow, investments, and coordinating loans to safeguard the association's economic health.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks, particularly in relation to funding, tenant income, and market fluctuations.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with government bodies, lenders, and other key stakeholders.
  • Overseeing the planning of new housing projects, capital investments, and refurbishment initiatives.
Ideal Candidate
  • Extensive experience in management within social housing, with a solid understanding of related regulations and challenges.
  • A background in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, along with managing cash flow effectively.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders and external partners.
