Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Senior Technical Service Specialist to act as the primary technical contact for customers using the Affera mapping and ablation platform. The role involves leading installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and lifecycle support, while collaborating with Sales, Clinical, Quality, Production, Engineering, and Field Service teams to ensure successful product implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related technical discipline with field service experience.
• Experience servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex electronic or electromechanical equipment.
• Experience performing installations, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance activities in customer-facing environments.
• Fluent English language skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Perform site assessments, installations, inspections, verification activities, corrective maintenance, and preventive maintenance for Affera systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to maximize system performance and customer uptime.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison for customers, providing expert support throughout the product lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and service records in accordance with regulatory and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with Clinical, Sales, Engineering, Production, Quality, and Field Service teams to support customer needs and product performance.
• Develop and deliver technical training programs for distributors, service partners, clinical teams, and customer representatives.
• Support new product introductions by participating in design transfer, commercial launch readiness, and field feedback activities.
