Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a remote, field-based Service Engineer to support Cardiac Ablation Solutions across the United Kingdom and Ireland. The role involves installations, preventive and corrective maintenance, and on-site troubleshooting with extensive travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline with field service experience.
• Experience servicing, maintaining and troubleshooting complex electronic or electro‑mechanical equipment.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the UK and Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Perform site assessments, installations, inspections, and preventive and corrective maintenance for Affera systems.
• Troubleshoot complex issues to maximise system performance and uptime.
• Serve as technical liaison, providing expert support throughout the product lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate technical records in line with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support customer needs and product performance.
• Develop and deliver technical training programs for customers and partners.
