Job summary

Greystar oversees facilities maintenance across a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring health and safety, regulatory compliance, and asset performance. You will manage work orders, supervise contractors, and support the turnover process for new lease-ins.

The role emphasizes developing preventive maintenance, monitoring budgets, and delivering clear reports to management, while maintaining high levels of resident satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications

• Electrical/mechanical engineering or plumbing qualification.
• Experience in domestic residential building upkeep and related trades.
• Knowledge of health and safety risks and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform facilities maintenance across buildings and grounds.
• Assign and track work orders from resident requests and ensure timely completion.
• Monitor mechanical/electrical systems and life-cycle replacement planning.
• Inspect work, manage contractors, and ensure compliance with policies and RAMS.
• Develop PPM schedules and manage supplier contracts within budget.
• Prepare monthly reports on maintenance activities and contractor performance.
• Provide excellent resident-facing service and respond to emergencies on call.
