Job summary

Greystar is seeking a hands-on maintenance operative to support the Community and Estates Management teams in delivering repairs, maintenance tasks, and statutory compliance across the building fabric and mechanical/electrical systems.

You will inspect faults, undertake minor works, and ensure the property remains safe, clean, and well-maintained for residents, with responsibilities extending to coordinating contractors and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Fluent English verbal and written communication required.
• Evidence of good organisational and numerical skills.
• Trade qualification essential for repairs and maintenance in residential buildings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standard of cleanliness throughout the community.
• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to resolve issues.
• Administer maintenance records and supplier contracts.
• Coordinate contractors on site and monitor RAMS/Permits to Work.
• Carry out repairs including plumbing, joinery, carpentry and decorating.
