Job summary

Greystar is seeking a proactive Facilities Manager in Croydon to oversee technical services, building maintenance, and compliance across assets. You'll lead maintenance teams, manage budgets, and coordinate contractors to ensure safety and asset performance.

Working with the Estates Management and Community teams, you will drive service improvements, report on PPM schedules, and safeguard statutory regulations while supporting smooth operations for residents and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• A level or higher (or equivalent) as a minimum education level.
• Knowledge of UK Health & Safety laws and building management regulations.
• Qualification in electrical/mechanical engineering or plumbing or equivalent trade training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facilities tasks and maintenance to meet safety and building standards.
• Assign and monitor work orders, ensuring timely completion and quality.
• Monitor building services and plan preventative maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders and capital works handover processes.
• Prepare monthly reports on maintenance, life cycle, and contractor performance.
• Inspect workmanship and drive corrective actions as needed.
• Hire, onboard and develop team capabilities to meet KPIs and succession.
• Assist in budgeting and cost control for properties and facilities.
