Job summary

The Crown Hotel Harrogate is seeking an experienced F&B Operations Manager to lead the Churchill Restaurant, Henrys Bar, The Place and banqueting. You will drive guest experience, standards and commercial success across all F&B outlets.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will coach teams, manage recruitment and training, ensure brand, health & safety compliance, and deliver standout hospitality during peak service and events.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior F&B leadership role within a hotel, restaurant group, or events-led venue.
• Strong experience managing managers and leading multi-outlet operations.
• Calm, confident leadership with a hands-on approach and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day F&B operations across all services.
• Ensure high standards of service, quality, and presentation.
• Maintain strong floor presence during key services and events.
• Drive revenue growth, cost control, and profitability across F&B streams.
• Monitor payroll, margins, stock control and forecasting.
• Support menu development, pricing strategies, and events with kitchen/sales teams.
• Analyze performance data and implement improvements.
• Ensure guest interactions reflect warmth, confidence and professionalism.
• Collaborate with Sales, Kitchen, Hotel Operations and Senior Leadership.
