What’s the opportunity?

We’re looking for a Senior Events Manager to lead Intercom’s most impactful brand activations and sponsorships across North America. In this role, you’ll shape high-quality, memorable experiences that highlight Fin’s product depth and Intercom’s evolving leadership in AI.

These aren’t demand-gen campaigns. They’re thoughtfully crafted brand moments that are designed to spark conversation, build trust, and demonstrate the real-world value of our AI-first approach.

You’ll own the full arc of strategy and execution, ensuring every activation is creatively ambitious and flawlessly delivered. You’ll also work closely with go-to-market teams to make sure these experiences connect to pipeline in purposeful, commercially meaningful ways.

What will I be doing?
  • Own and lead Intercom’s full portfolio of brand sponsorships and event activations
  • Drive the strategy and execution of tier 1 third-party events, including strategic sponsorships and product showcases that elevate our product story and market presence
  • Deliver world-class creative execution across every detail, including activation design, attendee flow, AV, visuals, and on-site experience
  • Bring Fin to life through experiences that clearly communicate its technical depth, product maturity, and category leadership
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Communications, Executive Assistants, Brand Marketing, R&D, and Field Marketing to align on speakers, executive engagement, campaign tie-ins, and commercial goals
  • Lead agencies and vendors to deliver high-impact, on-brand experiences on time and on budget
  • Define and track success using a mix of brand and business metrics
  • Travel approximately 25 to 30 percent to oversee on-site execution and uphold a high standard of quality
What skills do I need?
  • 6+ years of experience leading end-to-end brand events and activations, ideally in a tech or B2B environment
  • Proven ability to produce visually refined, creatively ambitious, and strategically aligned brand experiences
  • A strong sense of ownership. You take initiative, follow through without needing direction, and hold yourself to a high standard
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-ambiguity environment. You bring structure, make decisions quickly, and keep things moving
  • Hands-on creative production expertise, with sound judgment across design, product storytelling, and attendee experience
  • Confidence working with technical and product teams. You can quickly understand complex products and translate them into impactful experiences
  • Clear, collaborative communicator who keeps stakeholders aligned and projects on track
  • Effective at managing budgets, timelines, and external partners
  • Deep respect for brand consistency and high-quality execution
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, event management, or related field
  • Experience working with or marketing AI products
  • Proficiency in event software platforms (e.g. ticketing, streaming, engagement tools)

We are a well-treated bunch, with awesome benefits! If there’s something important to you that’s not on this list, talk to us!

  • Competitive salary and equity in a fast-growing start-up
  • We serve lunch every weekday, plus a variety of snack foods and a fully stocked kitchen
  • Pension scheme & match up to 4%
  • Peace of mind with life assurance, as well as comprehensive health and dental insurance for you and your dependents
  • Flexible paid time off policy
  • Paid maternity leave, as well as 6 weeks paternity leave for fathers, to let you spend valuable time with your loved ones
  • If you’re cycling, we’ve got you covered on the Cycle-to-Work Scheme. With secure bike storage too
  • MacBooks are our standard, but we’re happy to get you whatever equipment helps you get your job done
