Job summary

Rosewood London is seeking an Assistant Director of Event Sales to partner with the Director of Event Sales in negotiating, converting and growing the hotel’s event business. You will lead the team in event and group planning, ensuring exceptional client experiences and seamless handovers.

You will deputise for the Director when required and help maintain standards, commercial performance and the department’s reputation while strengthening relationships with clients, suppliers and hotel

Qualifications

• Experience at senior event management level within four- or five-star hotels.
• Experience selling and planning weddings, social events and group bookings.
• Familiar with Opera PMS; Salesforce experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead event and group planning with accurate BEOs, resumes, floor plans and handovers.
• Partner with the Director of Event Sales to improve lead conversion and maximise hotel revenue.
• Lead planning-related meetings, procedures and training, including weekly BEO and Group Resume meetings.
• Plan your own events, weddings and group bookings and anticipate client needs.
• Maintain standards, commercial performance and reputation of the department.
