Job summary

Rosewood London is seeking an Assistant Director of Event Sales to partner with the Director of Event Sales in negotiating, converting and growing the hotel’s event business. You will lead event and group planning, develop opportunities and ensure exceptional client experiences across weddings, social events and groups.

You will drive planning-related meetings, mentor the Event Sales team and maintain the hotel's standards and reputation.

Qualifications

• Senior event management experience in a four- or five-star hotel.
• Experience selling and planning weddings, social events and group bookings.
• Proficient with Windows; knowledge of Delphi and/or Salesforce.
• Strong English communication; ability to build relationships at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead event and group planning with accurate BEOs, group resumes, floor plans and handovers.
• Partner with the Director of Event Sales to improve lead conversion and maximise hotel revenue.
• Plan and run own events, weddings and group bookings, anticipating client needs.
• Prepare proposals, contracts and addendums in line with availability, demand and price integrity.
• Develop the Event Sales team through coaching and cross-functional collaboration.
