Senior Environmental Advisor

Location: Suffolk

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Environmental Advisor to join a new construction project in Suffolk. You will lead environmental performance on site, ensuring best practice standards, legislative compliance, and continuous improvement throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess environmental risks and develop mitigation strategies with the project team
  • Create, implement, and maintain the Project Environmental Management Plan
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and health & safety legislation
  • Liaise with stakeholders to manage environmental impacts (noise, dust, waste, etc.)
  • Promote environmental awareness and best practice on site
  • Support carbon reduction targets and environmental reporting
  • Implement, audit, and improve the Environmental Management System
  • Monitor environmental performance and report against project objectives
  • Manage inspections, monitoring data, and environmental incidents
Candidate Requirements
  • Proven experience in an environmental role within the construction industry
  • Degree in an environmental or related discipline
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with internal teams and clients
  • A proactive, detail-focused approach and passion for environmental management
