Job summary
Sigma Computing is expanding its Solution Engineering team in the United Kingdom. The Solution Engineer will help redefine the business intelligence landscape by delivering compelling demos, prototypes, and proofs of concept that align with customer challenges and strategic goals.
You will partner with Sales, Product, Engineering and Support to act as a trusted advisor, providing technical leadership and guidance throughout the pre-sales cycle while building enterprise‑grade data integration
Qualifications
- ETL experience with Fivetran or Matillion or traditional ETL
- Cloud data warehouse experience (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
- Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field or equivalent
- Strong understanding of database concepts
- Experience in SaaS environments or with cloud architectures
Responsibilities
- Lead technical presales activities, including presentations, demos, and prototypes
- Act as trusted advisor to prospects and customers, coordinating with Sales, Product, Engineering and Support
- Deliver responses to RFPs/RFIs and align solutions with customer challenges
- Run targeted discovery sessions or workshops and showcase solution prototypes
- Manage multiple customer engagements concurrently and drive quarterly objectives
