Job summary

Databricks is seeking a technically adept Solutions Architect to engage with our largest UK customers. You will advise on adopting the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, working alongside Solutions Architects, Account Executives and technology specialists.

You will lead with a customer-centric mindset, shaping engagement strategies, guiding adoption, and driving outcomes in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• Technical pre-sales experience with complex customer interactions.
• Background in Data Engineering or Data Warehousing or ML/AI.
• Experience with large enterprise customers across sectors.
• Autonomy in ambiguous environments and ability to lead from behind.
• Ability to influence C-level stakeholders and orchestrate teams.
• Coding in Python or SQL; willingness to learn Spark.
• Hands-on with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud.
• Nice to have: Databricks Certification.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% to London offices and customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Databricks’ most complex customers to achieve platform goals.
• Develop and execute customer engagement strategies with Account Executives and Solutions Architects.
• Coach account teams on positioning, adoption strategies, and execution within timelines.
• Influence stakeholders across the wider cloud ecosystem and third-party apps.
• Act as a trusted advisor for data analytics architecture, design and adoption of the Lakehouse platform.
• Contribute to the technical community with collateral and workshops.
