Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer for the UK & Ireland Emerging Enterprise Digital Native team, based in London. You will lead hands-on evaluations and PoCs to prove the Data Intelligence Platform against customers' real data and workloads, engaging founders, CTOs, and senior engineers.

You will work with Account Executives and Architects to win new logos, qualify quickly, and articulate both technical and business value to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in technical pre-sales, consultancy, or engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Scala, or Java, with Spark familiarity.
• Experience with modern data stacks and at least one public cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Hands-on PoC design/delivery and customer-facing demos.

Responsibilities

• Partner with an Account Executive and a Senior Solutions Architect to win new digital-native logos across UK & Ireland.
• Run hands-on evaluations and PoCs against customers' real data and workloads.
• Engage technical buyers across data engineering, ML, and Generative AI.
• Demonstrate value and build a compelling technical and commercial case against competitors.
• Develop customer-facing collateral and participate in workshops and events.
• Develop professionally toward operating independently as a Solutions Architect.
