Job summary

bet365 is seeking a Senior Business Systems Applications Engineer to own and evolve enterprise platforms across on-premise, SaaS and cloud environments. The role focuses on leading technical application support, system implementations and root-cause analysis, collaborating with vendors and internal teams to optimize architecture and performance.

You will mentor colleagues, manage multiple priorities and contribute to a hybrid work-from-home approach.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting and integrating SaaS and cloud-hosted enterprise applications.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex architectural and system issues.
• Experience with vendor management and 3rd party tool implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery, configuration and ongoing maintenance of core business applications across cloud and SaaS environments.
• Conduct advanced root-cause analysis to diagnose and resolve complex technical incidents across the enterprise stack.
• Partner with external software vendors and internal engineering teams to deploy upgrades and enhancements.
• Evaluate existing system architecture to identify performance improvements and scalability gains.
• Guide and mentor junior colleagues in incident handling and technical standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to align application performance with operational requirements.
