Job role:
  • Managing and updating test procedures for the Heavy industry and Rail
  • Identifying the preferred test houses and locations and updating preferred supplier lists.
  • Will oversee the development of test уку equipment and test rigs in order to perform tests
  • Test Preparation, Instrumentation, Supplier Facility Planning, and Test Logistics including the ordering of parts where required
  • Managing Systems Preparation and Commissioning of Hardware at test locations.
  • Supporting Electrical Systems and Software teams as required
  • Review project Design Verification Plans and supporting PM’s and Systems Engineering in creating accurate test plans
  • Local management of Instrumentation and data management recording as required
  • Creating, reviewing and managing Instrumentation requirements
  • Engagingोक with Systems Engineering and DVP owners to ensure compatible plans
  • Collaborate with procurement and workshop to keep track of facility plans
  • Work closely with Head of Department to develop the Mechanical Engineering team skills and capabilities
  • Running and coordinating Tests तभी globally
  • Mentoring and aiding the development of team members
  • A potential for extended travel to Australia and US

  • Mechanical Engineering graduate or experience in a similar industry
  • Test & Development Experience
  • base of data acquisition and control software (Ideally System monitor Atlas, IPEmotion)
  • Experience of 3D CAD and PML software (ideally NX and Team centre)
  • < sqrt> Working Collaboratively within a Cross Functional Team
  • Hands on proactive attitude and comfortable in completing practical tasks (test rig, prototype assemblies)
