Job summary

Parkside Recruitment is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Manager to provide trusted ER support across the business. You’ll be the first contact for General Managers, Territory Managers and People Business Partners, promoting fair, consistent and commercially sound employee relations practices while minimising risk.

This hands-on role collaborates with operational leaders to manage ER cases, coach managers and build confidence and capability, with remote work and monthly in-person team meeting.

Qualifications

• CIPD qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and ER best practice.
• Proven experience advising and coaching managers on ER issues, including complex cases.
• Strong judgement balancing risk, fairness and commercial impact.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear, pragmatic ER advice to managers on disciplinary, grievance, absence and capability cases.
• Ensure ER cases are fair, consistent and in line with legislation and policies.
• Coach line managers to manage ER matters confidently and achieve positive outcomes.
• Own end-to-end case management and maintain accurate records in systems.
• Produce ER trend reporting to support insight-led decisions.
