Job summary

Parkside Recruitment is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Manager to provide trusted ER support across the business. You will be the first contact for General Managers, Territory Managers and People Business Partners, ensuring fair and commercially sound ER practices while minimising risk.

The role is fully remote with monthly in-person team meeting, requiring strong judgment, communication and stakeholder management to balance risk, fairness and business impact.

Qualifications

• Clear, pragmatic advice to managers on ER matters.
• Ensure ER cases are fair, consistent and compliant with employment law.
• Coach and support line managers to handle ER matters confidently.
• Strong relationship-building with People Team and senior leaders.
• Proficient in case management and reporting in HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear, pragmatic advice to managers on ER matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and capability cases.
• Ensure ER cases are managed fairly, consistently and in line with employment legislation, company policies and best practice.
• Coach and support line managers to manage ER matters confidently and reach positive, sustainable outcomes.
• Build strong working relationships with People Business Partners, Territory Managers, General Managers and the wider People Team.
• Own end-to-end case management, ensuring accurate and timely updates on ServiceNow and other people systems.
• Monitor ER trends and produce case reporting to support insight-led decision making.
