Job summary

Parkside Recruitment is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Manager to provide trusted ER support across the business. This hands-on role requires close collaboration with operational leaders and the People Team to manage ER cases, coach managers and build capability.

The position is fully remote with a monthly in-person team meeting, and offers the opportunity to influence policy, ensure fair processes, and minimise risk across our UK operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience advising and coaching managers on ER issues, including complex cases.
• Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and ER best practice.
• Hands-on ER case management with reporting and insights.
• Strong judgement balancing risk, fairness and commercial impact.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear, pragmatic advice to managers on ER matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and capability cases.
• Manage ER cases fairly and in line with legislation, company policies and best practice.
• Coach and support line managers to manage ER matters confidently and reach positive outcomes.
• Own end-to-end case management, ensuring accurate and timely updates on ServiceNow and other HR systems.
• Monitor ER trends and produce case reporting to support insight-led decision making.
