Job summary

Parkside Recruitment is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Manager to provide trusted ER support across the business. You will act as the first point of contact for General Managers, Territory Managers and People Business Partners, promoting fair and commercially sound ER practices while minimising risk.

This is a hands-on, remote role with a monthly in-person team meeting, requiring expert advisory skills, strong judgement and excellent stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Experience advising and coaching managers on ER issues
• Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and ER best practice
• Strong judgement balancing risk, fairness and commercial impact
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Highly organised with ability to manage multiple cases

Responsibilities

• Provide clear, pragmatic ER guidance to managers on disciplinary, grievance, absence and capability cases
• Ensure ER cases are managed fairly and in line with legislation, policies and best practice
• Coach line managers to build confidence and capability across the business
• Maintain and update case records in ServiceNow and other HR systems
• Monitor ER trends and generate case reporting for insights
• Support ER projects, policy updates and ER training when required
• Liaise with external partners such as legal advisors and occupational health providers
• Stay current with employment legislation and advise on policy improvements
