Sovos is building the future of embedded compliance through partnerships with ISVs and BPOs worldwide. As a Senior Embedded ISV Sales Engineer, you’ll bridge the sales and technical teams, translating complex capabilities into partner-ready solutions that can be evaluated, integrated, and scaled.

You’ll lead technical discovery, deliver demos, and provide guidance on APIs, authentication, data flows, and deployment models while collaborating across Sales, Solution Architecture, Product

Qualifications

• Experience in sales engineering or pre-sales for enterprise software or SaaS.
• Ability to engage architects and engineering managers without requiring hands-on coding.
• Familiar with compliance processes such as e-invoicing and tax determination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with partner-facing delivery.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with Embedded ISV team across the full sales cycle, providing technical credibility and platform expertise from initial partner outreach through solution scoping, technical validation, and close.
• Lead technical discovery with prospective ISV and BPO partners, understanding their architecture and integration approach, and translating findings into a technical fit assessment.
• Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept support for Sovos’ APIs and platform.
• Provide expert guidance on APIs, authentication, webhooks, data flows, deployment models, testing environments, SLAs, and architecture.
• Maintain knowledge of Sovos' platform, roadmap, and documentation for pre- and post-sales conversations.
• Contribute to developing technical sales assets, demo environments, diagrams, and integration FAQs.
• Maintain CRM records of technical engagements and coordinate with the sales team.
