Job summary

Sovos is seeking a Senior Embedded ISV Sales Engineer to bridge sales and engineering for embedded compliance APIs. You’ll work with ISV partners and BPOs to scope, validate, and integrate Sovos solutions, translating complex capabilities into partner-ready implementations.

You will demo, document, and articulate technical value, collaborating with Sales, Solution Architecture, and Product teams across the lifecycle. Travel to partner meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales engineering or pre‑sales roles for enterprise software, SaaS, or embedded APIs.
• Ability to engage technical stakeholders (architects, engineers) and translate tech into business value.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, authentication, cloud architectures and SaaS integration patterns.
• Strong written and verbal communication for demos, presentations, and partner facing material.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Embedded ISV team across the full sales cycle with technical credibility.
• Lead technical discovery with ISV/BPO partners and translate findings into solutions.
• Deliver product demos and proof-of-concept support showing Sovos APIs embedding in partner architectures.
• Provide guidance on APIs, authentication, data flows, and deployment models.
• Maintain knowledge of Sovos product suite, roadmap, and technical docs for partner conversations.
• Contribute to demos, diagrams, FAQs, and qualification criteria for partner motion.
• Record technical engagements and partner health in CRM and tracking tools.
