Job summary

Sovos is seeking a Senior Embedded ISV Sales Engineer to serve as the technical bridge between partner-facing sales and our compliance platform. You will translate complex capabilities into partner-ready solutions and drive engagement with Embedded ISVs and BPOs worldwide.

You will lead technical discovery, deliver demos and proofs of concept, and collaborate with Sales, Solution Architecture, Product Management, Support, and Engineering across the full partner lifecycle. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales engineering or pre-sales for enterprise software.
• Able to engage architects and engineering managers without hands-on coding.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and cloud integration.
• Willing to travel for partner meetings and events.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Embedded ISV and BPO teams across the full sales cycle.
• Lead technical discovery and assess partner platform architectures.
• Deliver demos and proofs of concept to demonstrate API integration.
• Provide guidance on APIs, authentication, data flows, deployment models.
