Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior or Principal Electrical Engineer to join the Water team in the UK. You will lead electrical solutions for water projects from concept to delivery, guiding technical direction and building client relationships.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered or Incorporated status with IET or eligible to become chartered within 12 months.
• Experience in multidisciplinary project environments and water sector delivery or transferable industry.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Commitment to innovation, sustainability and technical excellence.
• Experience with risk assessment and process safety studies (HAZOP).

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of electrical engineering solutions for water resource projects across all lifecycle stages.
• Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to deliver integrated and sustainable outcomes.
• Provide technical guidance, support and coaching within project teams.
• Develop and review technical reports, calculations, specifications, drawings and design packages.
• Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and project partners.
• Contribute to innovation, continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies.
