Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is recruiting an Associate/Associate Director Electrical Engineer to join the Water team. You will lead a team delivering high‑quality electrical solutions for water infrastructure across the UK, while advancing best practice across regional and national activities.

You will mentor engineers, develop client relationships, and coordinate cross‑discipline teams to maximise project value, supporting and growing the electrical practice during AMP8 and beyond.

Qualifications

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered Electrical Engineer with a UK institution OR extensive industry experience delivering value.
• Experience leading the electrical design delivery of multidisciplinary projects in the UK water sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Electrical Engineers delivering high‑quality technical solutions for complex water projects.
• Provide technical leadership across regional and national D&AT practice, driving best practice and continuous improvement.
• Build, lead, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams across AtkinsRéalis, clients, and partners to deliver integrated solutions.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships supporting business development and bid opportunities.
• Collaborate with UK and international teams to deliver innovative, compliant outcomes.
• Strengthen AtkinsRéalis' technical community and support practice development initiatives.
