Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Group in the UK is seeking an Associate or Associate Director Electrical Engineer to lead the delivery of significant water infrastructure. You will manage a team, provide technical direction, and ensure compliant, value‑driven outcomes across UK water projects.

The role emphasizes mentorship, cross‑disciplinary collaboration, and growth of the electrical discipline within a national practice, with hybrid working and opportunities to influence major AMP8 programmes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered Electrical Engineer with UK accreditation or proven delivery in UK water projects.
• Experience leading electrical design across concept to commissioning.
• Ability to guide engineers, manage risks and deliver value.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Electrical Engineers delivering high‑quality solutions for water and wastewater projects.
• Provide technical leadership across the D&AT practice and drive best practice.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams with clients and partners to maximise project value.
• Develop client relationships and pursue framework growth and opportunities.
• Collaborate with UK and international teams to deliver innovative outcomes.
