AtkinsRéalis UK Limited is seeking a Senior or Principal Electrical Engineer to lead electrical delivery on water infrastructure projects in the UK. You’ll shape solutions from concept to delivery, mentor teams, and build trusted client relationships within a multidisciplinary Water team.

Hybrid working is available with office/site-based days; opportunities to influence AMP8 programmes and drive technical excellence across major water projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered or Incorporated status with IET or ability to become chartered within 12 months.
• Proven experience leading technical delivery within water sector or transferable background.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Commitment to innovation, sustainability and technical excellence.
• Experience with engineering risk assessment and process safety studies (HAZOP).

Responsabilités

• Lead the delivery on electrical engineering solutions for water resource projects through all stages of the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with colleagues across multiple disciplines to develop integrated and sustainable outcomes.
• Provide technical guidance, support, and assurance to engineers and technicians, acting as a key point of contact within project teams.
• Develop and review technical reports, calculations, specifications, drawings, and design packages to ensure high-quality project delivery.
• Build strong relationships within project teams, clients, stakeholders and project partners.
• Contribute to innovation, continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies.
• Help identify opportunities within the Practice to create additional value for clients and communities.
