Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Associate or Associate Director Electrical Engineer to join the Water team delivering major infrastructure projects for UK water companies, local authorities and environmental bodies.

You will lead multidisciplinary design activities across concept to commissioning and mentor engineers, shaping the future of water services and contributing to AMP8 programmes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered Electrical Engineer with a UK institution or proven delivery track record.
• Experience leading the electrical design and delivery of multidisciplinary projects within the UK water sector.
• Ability to provide technical guidance, support and assurance to engineers and technicians.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Electrical Engineers delivering high-quality solutions for complex water and wastewater projects.
• Provide technical leadership across the regional and national D&AT practice, driving best practice and continuous improvement.
• Build, lead, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams across AtkinsRéalis, clients, and partners to deliver integrated solutions.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, supporting business development and bid opportunities.
• Collaborate with UK and international teams to deliver innovative, compliant, and commercially successful project outcomes.
• Play an active role in strengthening AtkinsRéalis' technical community and practice development initiatives.
