Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior or Principal Electrical Engineer to join our Water team in the UK. You will lead electrical engineering delivery across the project lifecycle, working directly with clients to shape solutions from concept through to delivery.

This role offers hybrid working, a broad portfolio of water infrastructure projects, opportunities to influence technical direction, and progression within a global engineering leader.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered or Incorporated status with IET or ability to become chartered within 12 months.
• Proven experience in multidisciplinary environments and delivering technical outcomes in water projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of electrical engineering solutions for water resource projects across all lifecycle stages.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop integrated, sustainable outcomes.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring and coaching to engineers and technicians.
• Develop and review technical reports, calculations, specifications, drawings and design packages.
• Build relationships with clients, stakeholders and project partners; drive continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies.
