Job summary

A Senior Electrical Design Engineer is needed in London to work on data centre projects across the UK and Europe. The role sits in a growing Data Centre team of a leading independent multidisciplinary consultancy offering a hybrid working pattern.

The successful candidate will lead electrical design and calculations, engage with clients and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, while mentoring junior engineers and developing strategies for complex data centre developments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' electrical/building services experience in consultancy.
• Strong design experience on large-scale or technically complex projects.
• Chartered status or working towards Chartership.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design and calculations across projects.
• Produce and review technical reports, specs and schedules.
• Develop electrical strategies and detailed designs.
• Engage with clients and attend project meetings.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor junior engineers.
