Job summary

Skilled Careers in London is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a leading M&E consultancy on Data Centre and Mission Critical projects. You will lead electrical design from concept through construction, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and liaising with clients and contractors.

The role requires a degree in electrical/building services engineering, 5+ years' experience, and familiarity with UK regulations. Chartered/CIBSE is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree/HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• 5+ years' relevant electrical building services experience.
• Data Centre, Mission Critical or high-tech project experience desirable.
• Chartered or working towards CEng/CIBSE membership advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design and delivery across Data Centre and Mission Critical projects.
• Develop designs from concept through to detailed design and construction.
• Produce and review electrical calculations, specifications and technical reports.
• Coordinate electrical services with multidisciplinary design teams.
• Liaise with clients, architects, contractors and other consultants.
• Attend and contribute to design and project meetings.
• Provide technical guidance and support junior engineers.
• Ensure designs comply with UK regulations, standards and project requirements.
• Manage technical deliverables, programmes and deadlines.
• Support technical reviews, QA/QC and project delivery.
