Job summary

AECOM Limited is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for data centres in a hybrid London role. You will deliver electrical designs in collaboration with the building services team, oversee small to mid-sized projects, and ensure alignment with industry standards and client needs.

The ideal candidate has postgraduate experience in building services with data centre focus, and is chartered or working toward CEng, with strong software proficiency (ETAP, Relux/Dialux, MS

Qualifications

• Post graduate experience in building services design with particular focus on data centres.
• Familiar with electrical design principles for data centres or similar facilities.
• Willing and able to travel to projects across the region and beyond; security clearance may be required.
• Chartered or working towards chartership (CEng) and membership of IET or CIBSE.
• Full clean driving licence and passport required for travel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the electrical delivery on small to mid-sized projects.
• Provide specialised technical input to studies and design for staff’s specific area of expertise.
• Manage own workload and meet deadlines on tasks assigned.
• Present technical solutions to clients and peers.
• Participate in development of technical proposals.
• Attend design team and coordination meetings and site inspection meetings.
• Liaise with clients, professional organisations, contractors, suppliers and other design team members.
