Job summary

RED ENGINEERING DESIGN LIMITED is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our London, Bicester or Newcastle office. You will manage multiple medium-sized data centre projects, developing and coordinating electrical installations and building services.

You will lead client liaison, deliver design packages, ensure compliance with industry standards, and mentor junior staff. The role requires degrees, professional accreditation progress, and strong knowledge of BS standards and MS

Qualifications

• BEng and/or MSc in Engineering with relevant experience.
• Working towards Chartered Engineer status is acceptable.
• Strong knowledge of BS standards and building services.
• Experience in electrical design for building services projects.

Responsibilities

• Run medium-sized projects and coordinate electrical design for building services.
• Develop and specify control systems for building services.
• Survey, test and report on existing electrical installations.
• Ensure designs meet functional requirements and customer specifications.
