AECOM is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for data centre projects across the UK. You will lead electrical design delivery, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and take ownership of project components from conception through construction.

The role requires chartered status or progression towards it, strong knowledge of electrical design principles, regulatory standards, and the ability to travel as needed. Hybrid work is available with global project exposure.

Competenze

• Post graduate experience in a building services design role with focus on data centres.
• Familiar with ETAP, Relux/Dialux, MS Project, AutoCAD and Revit software packages.
• Knowledge of regulations and industry best practice; able to design across RIBA plan of work stages.
• Ability to apply initiative under guidance from a Principal engineer and wider team.
• Full driving licence and passport; willing to travel to projects domestically and internationally.
• Security clearance will be required to work on some projects; able to obtain.
• Master’s degree in electrical engineering with building services bias; degree preferred.
• IET or CIBSE membership; CEng accreditation or progressing towards.

Mansioni

• Coordinate and manage the electrical delivery on small to mid-sized projects.
• Provide technical input to studies and design in staff’s area of expertise.
• Manage own workload and meet deadlines on assigned tasks.
• Present technical solutions to clients and peers; develop technical proposals.
• Attend design team and coordination meetings; attend site inspection meetings as required.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers and other design team members.
