Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for data centres in London, operating in a hybrid work model. The role focuses on delivering electrical designs for hyperscale and co-location data centres, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across the UK.

Ideal candidates will have postgraduate data centre experience, familiarity with ETAP, Relux/Dialux, MS Project, AutoCAD and Revit, and a path toward chartership (IET/CIBSE/CEng). Security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Post Graduate experience in a building services design role with focus on data centres.
• Master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Member of IET or CIBSE; CEng accreditation or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the electrical delivery on small to mid-sized projects.
• Provide specialised technical input to studies and design.
• Manage own workload and meet deadlines on tasks.
• Present technical solutions to clients and peers.
• Attend design team and coordination meetings.
• Attend site inspection meetings as required.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers and other design team members.
