Job summary

AECOM Limited is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for Data Centre projects in the UK. The role is within the Data Centre MEP team, supporting electrical design delivery and working across disciplines to meet project objectives.

The candidate should have post-graduate experience in data centre design, be chartered or working towards, and willing to travel internationally. Hybrid work options are available, with a focus on delivering high-quality, compliant designs.

Qualifications

• Post Graduate experience in building services design with focus on data centres.
• Familiar with ETAP, Relux/Dialux, MS Project, AutoCAD and Revit software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage electrical delivery on small to mid-sized projects.
• Provide technical input to studies and design for building services.
• Manage own workload and meet deadlines for assigned tasks.
• Show initiative and problem-solve; operate with minimal supervision.
• Present technical solutions to clients and peers; contribute to proposals.
• Attend design team and coordination meetings; attend site inspection meetings where required.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and other design team members.
