Job summary

AECOM in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for data centre projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across disciplines. You will drive technical delivery, coordinate with other engineers, and contribute to feasibility studies and client proposals.

We expect post-graduate experience in building services for data centres, familiarity with ETAP/Relux/Dialux, AutoCAD and Revit, and a willingness to travel domestically and

Qualifications

• Post Graduate experience in a building services design role with data centres.
• Familiar with relevant regulations, standards and industry best practice.
• Ability to travel internationally and hold a valid licence and passport.
• Security clearance to work on certain projects may be required.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate and manage the electrical delivery on small to mid-sized projects.
• Provide specialised technical input to studies and design for staff's area of expertise.
• Manage own workload and meet deadlines on assigned tasks.
• Use initiative and problem solving to present technical solutions to clients.
• Contribute to development of technical proposals.
• Attend design team and coordination meetings as required.
• Attend site inspection meetings as required.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers and other design team members.
