Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design delivery for data centres, working with a multidisciplinary team across the UK. You will deliver electrical designs, oversee smaller projects, and liaise with clients and partners to ensure robust, compliant solutions.

You should bring post-graduate building services experience focused on data centres, strong knowledge of ETAP/Relux/Dialux, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

• Post graduate experience in a building services design role with particular focus on data centres.
• Proficient with ETAP, Relux/Dialux, MS Project, AutoCAD and Revit.
• Familiar with regulations and able to produce designs across all RIBA stages.
• Ability to apply initiative under supervision of senior engineers and travel as needed.
• CEng status or progress towards chartered professional accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage electrical delivery on small to mid-sized data centre projects.
• Provide specialist technical input to studies and design work within the team.
• Manage own workload and meet deadlines; present technical solutions to clients.
• Develop technical proposals and participate in design team meetings.
• Attend site inspections and coordinate with clients, contractors and design peers.
