Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for its Data Centre MEP team in the UK. You will lead electrical design delivery on data centre projects, collaborating with other disciplines and stakeholders to ensure innovative, compliant solutions.

You will be chartered (or working towards) and capable of running small projects with guidance from senior engineers. AECOM offers hybrid work options and global opportunities.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate experience in building services design for data centres.
• Proficient with ETAP, Relux/Dialux, MS Project, AutoCAD and Revit.
• Familiar with applicable regulations and able to design across RIBA stages.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage electrical delivery on small to mid-sized projects.
• Provide specialized technical input to studies and design.
• Manage workload and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrate initiative and problem solving.
• Present technical solutions to clients and peers.
• Participate in development of technical proposals.
• Attend design team and coordination meetings.
• Attend site inspection meetings as required.
• Liaise with clients, professionals, contractors and suppliers.
