Job summary

AECOM Limited is recruiting a chartered Principal Electrical Engineer for data centre construction administration to lead electrical scopes on projects and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team in the UK.

The role requires data centre design exposure, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to travel for projects. Hybrid work arrangement and a supportive environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Post Graduate experience in a building services design role with particular focus on data centres.

Responsibilities

• Project planning and management.
• Provide specialised technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
• Preparation of contract documentation and specifications.
• Estimating and cost control on projects.
• Manage own workload and meet deadlines on task assigned.
• Compiling technical project reports
• A self-starter who can use own initiative and a problem solver
• Present technical solutions to clients and peers
• Participate in development of technical proposals
• Attend design team and coordination meetings where required.
• Attend site inspection meetings where required.
• Liaise with clients, professional organizations, contractors, suppliers, sub-contractors and other design team members.
• Mentoring and development of junior and intermediate engineers in the group.
