The role involves leading design interfaces, coordinating with clients, engineers and contractors, and embedding health and safety into the design process. Chartered status is preferred and BIM/CAD proficiency is required.

Qualifikationen

• Experience managing design through full project lifecycle.
• Understanding of integrated design delivery and consultant performance.
• Knowledge of BIM and common data environments.
• Degree in engineering discipline; Electrical preferred.
• Chartered status preferred.

Aufgaben

• Work with Project Manager to manage contracts with external design consultants and contractors.
• Lead technical assurance and manage design interfaces across disciplines.
• Manage multi-disciplinary teams of engineers from consultants and partner companies.
• Collaborate with technical, operational, maintenance, and strategic stakeholders.
• Liaise with clients and managers on project issues, scope changes, risks.
• Drive development of innovative, practical, and sustainable engineering solutions.
• Embed health, safety, and environmental considerations in all designs.
• Ensure integration across civil, structural, geotechnical, mechanical and electrical functions.
• Ensure constructability and reliability across the asset lifecycle.
