WSP in the UK & Ireland seeks a Senior Consultant or Principal Consultant to lead environmental contributions across transport infrastructure projects. You will coordinate planning, EIA, and environmental statements, working with multi-disciplinary teams and clients to deliver high-quality results.

Qualifikationen

• A relevant environmental degree level qualification in EIA, or similar.
• Practitioner or Chartered Environmental Status and full membership of IEMA, or similar.
• Familiarity with consenting processes for transport infrastructure (HRA, Environmental Permits).
• Ability to coordinate tasks across technical teams, external clients, and stakeholders, and deliver on time and budget.
• Ability to lead meetings with the wider technical team and external clients.
• Understanding of HS2, TfL, Pathway, WebTAG, Network Rail and London Underground requirements.
• Experience coordinating environmental surveys to support an EIA for transport schemes.
• Bid preparation and responding to client change requests with appropriate fee adjustments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and QA.

Aufgaben

• Deliver environmental inputs into transport projects (planning, EIA, DCO support).
• Coordinate surveys and environmental studies to support EIA.
• Build client relationships and identify opportunities for resourcing and bid development.
• Spearhead innovative techniques (Digital EIA, Future Ready EIA, etc.).
• Mentor junior colleagues and promote health, safety and wellbeing.
• Contribute to the success of the business strategy and project delivery.
