Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an Associate or Associate Director to lead resilience infrastructure projects in the UK. You will oversee environmental design, planning, EIA work, and multi-disciplinary teams across transport schemes. This role offers hybrid working with client engagement and career development.

You will contribute to nationally significant transport projects, drive bid development, and mentor colleagues while advancing sustainable infrastructure in the UK.

Qualifications

• Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) delivery for aviation schemes.
• Familiarity with planning regimes (Town and Country Planning Act, Planning Act 2008).
• Understanding HS2, TfL, Network Rail or London Underground requirements is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental elements of aviation projects.
• Direct recruitment, bidding, project delivery and budgets.
• Develop proposals for complex opportunities and bids.
• Coordinate environmental contributions across designs and assessments.
• Mentor and develop internal teams.
