Job summary

WSP UK is seeking a Senior/Principal Consultant to lead environmental inputs for major transport projects across the UK. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, manage planning applications and EIA workstreams, and contribute to strategic planning and environmental assessments.

You will drive bid preparation, support client engagements and help shape environmental strategies across projects, balancing delivery, quality and budget within a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• An environmental degree level qualification (EIA or similar).
• Practitioner or Chartered Environmental Status and IEMA membership or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of environmental inputs for transport projects: planning applications, EIA, DCO support.
• Coordinate environmental surveys required for EIA and related studies.
• Lead bid preparation and respond to client change requests with appropriate fee adjustments.
