AECOM is seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant to join our Environment team in the UK. You’ll coordinate environmental inputs across the EIA lifecycle, from screening to potentialEnvironmental Statements, in a flexible hybrid setup.

You’ll work with over 165 specialists, contributing to large-scale infrastructure projects while developing your project management and client-facing skills within a global firm.

Qualifications

• Degree in an environmental discipline (Masters preferred) and professional membership.
• Experience coordinating environmental reports and reviewing specialist chapters (EIA).
• Developing understanding of relevant consenting regimes (DCO/TWAO beneficial).
• Ability to work collaboratively within an established team with multiple technical inputs.
• Developing project management skills including programming and budgeting.
• Commitment to innovation and continuing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide Expertise: coordinate environmental inputs to EIA screening, scoping, and environmental statements.
• Ensure Quality: deliverables produced to the highest standards with attention to detail.
• Project Management: coordinate resources and budgets within projects.
• Collaborate: work with integrated design teams to improve environmental outcomes.
• Client Contact: maintain direct contact with clients and internal supply teams.
• Growth: promote environmental services and support fee and technical proposals.
