Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant to join our UK Environment team on a hybrid basis. You will coordinate environmental inputs to EIA screening, scoping reports and Environmental Statements across major infrastructure projects throughout the UK.

You will work with a team of over 165 specialists, engage with clients, and help deliver high-quality environmental outcomes from early strategy through construction and operation, while supporting business development activities.

Qualifications

• EIA consultancy experience coordinating environmental reports and technical reviews.
• Developing project management skills including programming and budget awareness.
• Ability to work collaboratively within established teams and engage stakeholders.
• Strong writing and analytical skills for Environmental Statements and related documents.
• Experience with multiple consenting regimes (DCO, TCPA, TWA, hybrid Bill) would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate environmental inputs to EIA screening and scoping reports and Environmental Statements.
• Ensure deliverables meet high quality standards across the project life cycle.
• Coordinate resources and budgets to support project delivery.
• Work with integrated design teams to improve environmental outcomes.
• Engage with clients and internal supply teams to drive project success.
• Support business development opportunities and technical proposals.
