Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant to coordinate environmental inputs across the EIA process for UK projects. You will work with a large team of environmental professionals and engage with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality Environmental Statements and associated documents.

You will contribute to project planning, risk assessment and environmental mitigation strategies while advancing your professional development within a flexible hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Degree in an environmental discipline (preferably Masters) and professional membership.
• EIA consultancy experience, coordinating environmental reports and technical reviews.
• Developing understanding of relevant consenting regimes.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an established team, coordinating inputs from specialists.
• Developing project management skills including scheduling and budgeting.
• Commitment to innovation and continuing professional development.
• Experience with DCO and/or TWAO regimes would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate environmental inputs to EIA screening and scoping, Environmental Statements and supporting documents.
• Review specialist chapters for quality and accuracy.
• Work across project life cycle from feasibility to operation.
• Collaborate with integrated design teams to identify constraints and mitigation Solutions.
• Direct contact with clients and internal supply teams.
• Support business development and technical proposals.
